The Basic Survival Course

To achieve optimum results on this course it should be taken on a one-to-one or small group basis.

The course will enable you to travel in and around a foreign country using some basic local language. The language acquired will help to facilitate initial contact, both face to face and over the telephone and enable a warmer interface with those you meet. Typically you will be able to deal with practical functions such as: hotel accommodation, transport (taxis etc.), restaurants, purchases and be able to present yourself in the language on a social and business level.

Course Length

Flexibly taken over 1 to 5 weeks (equivalent of 5 days).

Qualification

The Basic Survival Course leads to an operating capability equivalent to the CEF (Common European Framework) A1/A2 levels.
