Do I need to open any ports on my firewall to get Directors Virtual Classroom working?
- No special ports need to be opened although if you are connecting through a corporate network then you may find this article will help to improve performance.

Is Directors Virtual Classroom's audio and video encrypted?

Directors Virtual Classroom audio and video are not encrypted (which is similar to most phones) since the encryption would increase the required CPU usage and bandwidth consumption. This would cause a reduction in video and audio quality.

What is the minimum bandwidth required for Directors Virtual Classroom?

A minimum of 180kbps of available bandwidth is required for the upload (standard resolution) and an additional 128MB required for the download per video window added to the video call. If you have bandwidth problems during any session, change your resolution to Low Resolution to lower the amount of bandwidth you are using. You can also lower the camera FPS.
